  • 3 very ripe bananas, almost brown
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup salted butter melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 300° F.
  • Peel the bananas, place them in a medium bowl and mash them with a fork until you get a smooth consistency without lumps.
  • Add the vanilla extract and melted butter and whisk until well combined. Then whisk in the sugar and egg. Next, use a strainer to sift the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and baking soda. Then add salt and whisk until well combined.
  • Grease the loaf pan with butter or cooking oil and pour in the batter.
  • Place the loaf pan in the air fryer basket and cook for 35 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Remove the banana bread from the air fryer basket and place it on a cooling rack and let it cool for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
