Ingredients

Donuts

  • 1 cup 3 tbsps self-rising flour plus more for rolling out dough, sifted
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Donut Glaze

  • 2 tbsps butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsps rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

Donuts

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350° F.
  • Using a fine sieve, sift the self-rising flour into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add the Greek yogurt, then the vanilla extract, and mix with a spatula until well combined.
  • Shape the dough into a ball using your hands. Then move the dough onto a flat surface, then divide it into three equivalent parts. Using your finger, press the center of each of the three balls until you reach the bottom. Then, make a hole right in the middle of each ball.
  • Put two fingers in the middle of the dough and stretch the dough carefully to make the hole in the middle bigger. The donuts will sponge, so make sure to make the hole in the middle at least 2 inches wide.
  • Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper and place the donuts in a single layer in the basket. Air fry the donuts for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow them to cool on a cooling rack for 10 minutes before adding the glaze.

Donut Glaze

  • While the donuts are cooking, mix the sifted powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
  • Dip the tops of the donuts in the glaze. Then add the sprinkles on top and place the donuts back on the cooling rack for 10 minutes or until the glaze sets.
