This air fryer S’mores Dip is the perfect way to enjoy s’mores all year long, no campfire required! With only 5 ingredients, it’s a sweet and decadent snack or dessert that comes together in minutes.
Why air fryer s’mores dip is better than campfire s’mores
- S’mores whenever: No need to build a campfire to roast marshmallows, you can easily put this together in the air fryer (or the oven)!
- Better for sharing: This is great for serving at parties, holidays, movie nights, and gatherings to dip all of your favorite treats.
- Unique flavors: The addition of fresh strawberries gives this dip a unique acidic sweetness that pairs perfectly with the fluffy marshmallows and melty chocolate.
I love pairing this with some graham crackers for a classic dipper, but you can pair this dessert dip with a wide range of other treats.

Ingredients you will need
Chocolate chips: I like to use milk chocolate chips for a good balance of richness and sweetness, but you could use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips instead if you prefer.
Mini marshmallows: You don’t have to use the pink and white variety, but the pink marshmallows add some extra color and pair well with the vibrant strawberries.
Graham crackers: Because graham crackers are the typical exterior of s’mores, they make the ideal dipper!
Fresh strawberries: You may scratch your head at first, but they add another dimension of sweet fruity flavor.

How to make s’mores dip
- Assemble dip: Brush the bottom of a cast iron skillet or baking dish with melted butter, then add an even layer of chocolate chips and top with a layer of marshmallows.
- Air fry: Cook the dip the air fryer for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and gooey.
- Add strawberries: Chop the strawberries and place them on top.
- Serve: Use pieces of graham cracker to scoop up the s’mores dip and enjoy!
Can I make gooey s’mores dip in the oven?
If you want to make this s’mores dip in the oven, preheat it to 350F and bake just the chocolate chips for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add the marshmallows and bake 3 to 4 minutes, adding the strawberries just before serving.
For a super golden brown result, you can also cook the marshmallows under your broiler for a minute. Just keep a close eye on them so they don’t burn!
Flavor variations
- Peanut butter s’mores dip: Use half chocolate chips and half peanut butter chips for a delicious flavor combo.
- Use a different fruit: This dessert dip also pairs well with slices of banana, raspberries, blackberries, or cherries.
- Other dipper ideas: Instead of graham crackers, you can also dip soft pretzels or hard pretzels, buttery crackers (Ritz crackers are great), vanilla wafers, teddy grahams, your favorite potato chips or tortilla chips, or even more fresh fruit like apple slices or more strawberries!
- Marshmallow fluff: Top the melted chocolate chips with a layer of gooey marshmallow fluff instead of mini marshmallows. Use a kitchen torch or your oven’s broiler to give it a golden brown topping.
