Ingredients

Apple Filling

  • 2 cups diced gala apples, about 2 medium apples
  • 2 tbsps unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/16 tsp kosher salt

Crispy Oats Topping

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 4 tbsps unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsps maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsps chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350° F.
  • Add the chopped apples into a medium bowl and pour in the melted butter. Mix carefully with a flexible spatula.
  • Add the brown sugar to the bowl with the apples and mix. Then add the ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt over the apples with a strainer to avoid any lumps. Mix carefully until well combined. Divide the apple mixture into four ramekins and set aside.
  • Combine the rolled oats with the melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Add the ground cinnamon using a strainer to avoid any lumps and mix well. Add the chopped pecans to the mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Add the oat mixture over the apple mixture in each ramekin. Then cover each ramekin tightly with foil.
  • Place the ramekins inside the air fryer basket and bake for 5 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 5 more minutes.
  • Remove the ramekins from the air fryer and place them over a cooling rack for at least 10 minutes before serving.
