Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400F and line the basket with air fryer parchment for easier cleanup.
Add the steak, garlic, salt, pepper, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and olive oil to a large mixing bowl and toss until combined. Place the steak mixture in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked. Then top the mixture with sliced provolone cheese in a single layer and continue cooking for about 2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
Meanwhile, prepare the cheesesteaks. If you like, brush the outsides with butter before filling them up with the steak mixture. Then use a spatula or tongs to fill the hoagie rolls with the steak and veggies. Place the filled hoagies back in the air fryer for 1-2 mins to warm up.
Divide the cheesesteaks between 4 plates If you like, you can top them with parsley and yellow mustard.
