Ingredients You Will Need

Labeled ingredients for air fryer steak bites with potatoes.
  • Steak: Sirloin and ribeye are usually my picks for this recipe, but feel free to go for something like flank steak or skirt steak if you want a slightly less pricey option.
  • Potatoes: I like to use baby yellow potatoes for a smooth and buttery interior with that nice crispy air fried exterior.
  • Seasonings: Aside from garlic, you’ll just need salt and pepper and some fresh rosemary and thyme.

Recipe FAQs

Can you put raw steak in the air fryer?

Yep, as long as you fully cook the steak there’s no risk when it comes to air fryer raw meat!

How can I tell when steak is fully cooked?

If you’re worried about the steak not being quite done, use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temp of at least 165 degrees (or your preferred temperature). Luckily, steak bites aren’t super thick, so you won’t really have to worry about them being raw in the middle.

How to store air fryer steak and potatoes?

If you have leftovers, transfer them to an airtight container and store in the fridge for around 3 days or in the freezer for a couple of months.

What’s the best way to reheat steak bites?

You can microwave your steak bites if you need them hot again in a pinch, but I recommend popping them back in the air fryer at 350. If you’re reheating frozen leftovers, let them thaw in the fridge first.
